Happy Tooth Fairy Day! Celebrate with an interview with the web's Tooth Fairy!

  • Tell us a little about yourself.
  • I have trained and worked as a Tooth Fairy my whole lifelong dental career. Almost a decade ago I established my cyber home, titled Toothfairycyberspace, where you can find me online.

More recently I have become Twitter's Tooth Fairy @toothfairycyber, who flutters and flies around the Twittersphere and tweets about lost teeth, dental information, and fairy fun stuff, too.

  • Tell us about the Tooth Fairy. Why is she important?
  • The Tooth Fairy is important because she traditionally helps to mark major developmental stages in life, starting with the passage from infancy to childhood, pre-teen and teen years. She often appears as a female winged sprite but her *magic* disappears if she is seen.

  • What does she do with all those teeth?
  • The Tooth Fairy now often prefers to recycle baby teeth into fine sparkly fairy dust. One day the Tooth Fairy could save a child's life, since it has recently been discovered that baby teeth have stem cells!

Aww!

This is a great interview. I bet the kids will love it.

Tooth Fairy is the stuff of fairy tales

Great fun! Who doesn't have fond memories of the tooth fairy?
