It took me longer than I wanted to take in putting this Fairy Gazing Totem together. Once it was done, I took it out into the woods to film and take pictures of it. I had just put the totem on an old log, when I noticed a green snake only two feet away from me. It appeared to be watching me. So I decided to include the snake in the little video that I did. After filming the snake began to slither up a little tree. I got brave and reached out and touched it. My touch didn't bother the snake at all.

Thinking about this snake has given me an idea for the next chapter in Swishtales. I plan to have a group of snakes that gather under a Gazing totem to recite their poetry.
