Disney Fairies Pixie Hollow Online Announces Fairy House Art Contest

In honor of the film Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue, out on Blu-ray and DVD later this year, Disney Fairies Pixie Hollow is looking for players to create their own Fairy House Design between now and February 22, 2010.
Miley Cyrus to play half-fairy in Disney's 'Wings'

Temple Hill, the company that produced the Twilight film, will tackle the movie. A tad unsurprisingly, then, Wings involves fantastical high school characters struggling with teenage love. Will Laurel choose loyal human friend David or exotic fairy Tamani? Regardless, the movie should offer some great fairy escapist fun, and I'm excited to see it roll out.
Disney fairy mania grows traffic

A Disney representative said that the traffic increase was "largely driven by our virtual worlds, and specifically by the popularity of the new Disney Fairies Pixie hollow virtual world." A recent barrage of Disney Fairy products, from the new movie to video games to figurines, has probably helped catapult their popularity.

The second act features Tinker Bell and her friends from Pixie Hollow fighting to save spring, revealing their influence in nature. According to producer Nicole Feld in an earlier statement, "Audiences will get to meet the fairies live for the first time ever as we open the door to this mystical fairy world deep in the heart of Never Land and unveil the secrets that lie within."

However, even Apple can't resist implementing the time-proven charm of fairies into the mobile phone. Even better, the starring fairies belong to Disney, and were recently propelled to fame with a special movie titled Tinker Bell. Disney found success marketing products of the 1953 Tinker Bell character and expanded on the concept to form Disney Fairies, including several new fairies for fantasy-lovers.
